Fees

We are a Private billing practice and your initial consultation fee will be quoted at the time of booking your appointment. Private patients incur an out of pocket gap above the Medicare rebate. Patients who are in receipt of the full age pension are charged at a discounted rate. Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Gold Card patients are treated with no gap fees and their account is paid directly by the DVA.

For private patients who are not in receipt of the age pension or the DVA Gold card, the following general fees apply:

Standard Consultation:   $150
Long Consultation:   $220
Standard Biopsy:   $150 – $300
Cryotherapy:   $100
Biopsy with Stitches:   $250-$500 (Gap)

Medicare will provide a rebate to applicable patients, of approximately 30-50% of the fees charged, and our staff can process the Medicare claim at our rooms.

For private patients who are in receipt of the full age pension, the following general fees apply:

Standard Consultation: $110
Standard Biopsy: $no gap
Cryotherapy: $no gap
Biopsy with Stitches: $250-$400 (Gap)

Medicare will provide a rebate of $43.90 for a standard consultation, and our staff can process the Medicare claim at our rooms.

The fees for other skin cancer procedures should be discussed with your doctor. A gap fee will usually apply and this will vary according to the degree of complexity, the site of the lesion and size of the lesion, as well as how the wound is reconstructed.

The centre accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
